Our organization started after Jeremiah Dockery and Emily Dickinson started fostering, after we fostered we felt as if we needed to do more than just foster. In 2019 we started to rescue cats and take them to rescues to be adopted out. After we brought all the cats in we knew that we needed to help out the overcrowded situation here in Evansville, IN. We are wanting to open our own facility and be able to have cats adopted out through our organization. We as a rescue have a TNR program that helps get the population spayed/neutered but also helps the amount of kittens that are being produced. We are very happy that we are opening a new rescue here in Evansville, IN and we hope that we will help all the rescues here and hope to tremendously reduce the amount of euthanized cats and kittens. Our rescue will also have a program that will raise Awareness to Animal Cruelty and will teach adults about Indiana Animal Cruelty Laws and also teach children and older kids of how to interact with cats and play with them. We will also teach adults and children about Animal Behavior and what to look for in your cats.
